Adidas and A Bathing Ape recently (and quietly) released this special edition Campus 80 shoe that celebrated BAPE’s 30th year in business. This under-the-radar release came in special packaging and was dressed in rich, navy blue suede, with mismatching sides of the shoe paying homage to both brands. Ambush recently released their latest collaboration with Nike, on two colourways of the Air Force 1 Low. I picked up the “Phantom” colourway, which is crafted using premium leather, and features the familiar “Ambush touches” we’ve grown accustomed to, like the oversized TPU Swoosh, exposed tongue, and exaggerated heel counter. Late last month, DTLR dropped their exclusive take on the New Balance 990 V3. The “Gr3yscale” colourway features a mix of mesh, suede and leather in a greyscale gradient from white to black, and like every other 990 V3, this Made in USA pair has the comfort we’ve all come to know and love from the brand.
