Kendrick Lamar’s latest drop with Nike sees his take on the React Element 55 model! For this release, the nylon upper is patterned with a marble-like finish, and the React foam midsole has a grey and speckled black finish – similar to Cement print! Utilizing the familiar colours as was seen on last year’s collab, the SB Dunk Low encompasses a premium white leather upper to really make those details pop! To kick off February, Chinese fashion label, Sankuanz, and Puma teamed up to release an eclectic collection of both footwear and apparel. Puma Canada hooked me up and sent me my fave of the pack, the RS-X model, which is done in cream-based colour scheme with loud hits of royal blue and neon green! Concepts’ latest collab with Nike sees NBA superstar Kyrie Irving’s fifth signature sneaker done with an ancient Egyptian twist. The “Ikhet” colourway, which is a nod to Irving’s Hamsa Hand tattoo and the iconic Pyramids, features tan shades and splashes of purple representing the Egyptian sunset. Puma and Hasbro joined forces to release a special edition Transformers RS-X pack. My newest review covers the “Optimus Prime” colourway which sees bold hits of red and blue on the shoe that are synonymous with the Autobots’ leader. One of the more anticipated collaborations of the year released late last month with the first drops of the Dragon Ball Z x Adidas collection. My personal favourite of the bunch was the Frieza-inspired colourway of the Adidas Yung-1, which features the colours of the famous Dragon Ball Z villain on the chunky silhouette.
