Ronnie Fieg just dropped his newest Kith and Asics collab – two pairs of the Gel-Kayano 12.1. This mashup sneaker mixes the upper of the Gel-Kayano 12 with the tooling of the Gel-Nimbus 17, one pair in Cream and Pure Aqua, and the other as a nod to the New York Knicks. Just in time for summer, New Balance is dropping this new colourway of their 1000 model, in “Angora / Moonrock”. This general release features a muted yet multicolour look, with a cream midsole and black outsole to complete the look. Edison Chen and his Clot label recently dropped this unique spin on the classic Adidas Gazelle. This version opts for a woven textile upper, incorporates glass beads which form the Adidas Three Stripes, along with an espadrille style outsole. Minted New York and Saucony collaborated for the first time, releasing this ProGrid Triumph 4. Inspired by New York City and the Statue of Liberty, this 2007 running shoe is given a lifestyle twist, with green, silver, and beige tones crafted in a mix of nubuck and synthetic materials. Releasing on May 30th is a brand new colourway of the New Balance 993. Named “Sea Salt / Black”, this versatile colourway is built in a mix of white mesh, cream suede, and black overlays. For my newest video I’m reviewing the upcoming New Balance 1906R “Polka Dot Pack”, which includes these two pairs in my video – the “Sea Salt” and “Phantom” colourways. These are done in inverted fashion with a dotted pattern incorporated onto the mesh base. Meanwhile, genuine leather covers the upper in a surprise, premium twist.
