Earlier this week, J Balvin released his fourth collaboration with Jordan Brand, and second on the Air Jordan 3. This “Rio” pair is named after his son, and is crafted using a black leather upper, darkened elephant print panels, and the same gradient look on the midsole and heel that was also used in his previous Air Jordan 3 collab. Last year, Ronnie Fieg worked with Adidas Originals and Clarks to design and release the 8th Street Samba – a unique twist on this classic Adidas shoe. To close out the year, they released two new colourways on Christmas Day, one in White / Black, and the other a Multicoloured pair. The New Balance “Refined Future” recently made its return on the 1906R silhouette in a minimalistic, clean colourway for summer. Featuring that recognizable torn-up upper look, this pair is crafted using a mix of white mesh, genuine leather, and suede, with cream coloured hits throughout. Nike’s Lunar New Year collection included these Dunk Lows, which mimic the look of the 2011 Air Force 1 which also celebrated the Year of the Rabbit. With a white, blue and red makeup, these are inspired by the colour scheme of the famous Chinese candy, White Rabbit. Nike dropped a brand new colourway of the Air Jordan 4 last week. Nicknamed the “Red Thunder” due to its similarities to the original “Thunder” Jordan 4, these feature a black nubuck upper, hits of white on the heel and midsole, along with splashes of red throughout.
