South Korean streetwear label, thisisneverthat, recently dropped their latest collaboration with New Balance named “The 2022 Downtown Run”. Part of this collection consisted of the 1906R, a reworked take on the 2009 running shoe. Is New Balance striking gold again just like they did with the 2002R a few years back? Despite being a limited collab that dropped late last year, I recently scooped up the DTLR x New Balance 992 “Varsity” for just a bit over retail last week. With a collegiate flair to these, this Made in USA pair features premium grey suede, and hits of blue & red nubuck along with bold yellow laces to finish off the design.
