SoleSavy’s fifth custom sneaker, the SS5, recently were offered to members, limited to only 100 individually numbered pairs. Philadelphia-based Garrixon Studios took soles from white-on-white Air Force 1s and rebuilt the uppers entirely from scratch using premium red coloured suedes and nubucks. SoleSavy’s second ever community custom shoe, the SS2, finally landed in my hands. In this joint project with Philadelphia-based Garrixon Studios, 800 individually numbered pairs of these bespoke Air Max 90s were handmade and sold exclusively to SoleSavy members. This time, this pair draws inspiration from the Parra x Patta Air Max 1 “Cherrywood”, and feature premium quality materials and flawless craftsmanship.
