The Gel-Kayano 12.1 is a mash up silhouette and this time it utilizes earthy tones like grey mesh, shiny green overlays and if you look close, red pops along the tongue and outsole. Asics just dropped this beautiful general release colourway of the Gel-Kayano 20. The “Blue Neptune” pair features a bright blue upper with black and purple detailing, along with neon Gel pods on the midsole. Juliana Salazar x Asics Gel-Kayano 14 “Eucalyptus / Vanilla Ice” Review
Multi-hyphenate creative director Juliana Salazar just dropped her collaboration with Asics. Her take on the Gel-Kayano 14 is full of elegance, with a tonal tan upper crafted out of open mesh and suede. Bodega x Asics Gel-Kayano 20 (Friends & Family) “Success In Small Batches” Review
As a follow up to their earlier collab last year, Bodega and Asics teamed up again to release a limited run of their Friends & Family colourway of the Gel-Kayano 20 – called “Success In Small Batches”. This understated colourway features brown mesh, grey synthetic overlays, and neon hits throughout. HAL Studios x Asics Gel-Kayano 20 “Malt” Review
Australia’s HAL Studios’ latest Asics collab gave the Gel-Kayano 20 a twist. Replacing the traditional lacing with three velcro straps, these feature a fall/winter colour palette in tones of brown, black and red. Kith x Asics Gel-Kayano 12.1 “Cream / Sage” Review
As part of Kith’s Winter ’24 line, they dropped a couple of Asics collaborations, including the Gel-Kayano 12.1 that I’m reviewing today. This pair features cream mesh, with translucent TPU layers in a pale mint tone. The upper of this shoe is also paired with the tooling of the Gel-Nimbus 17, resulting in a mashup that is refreshingly new but still works. Bodega x Asics Gel-Kayano 20 “Small Wins Add Up” Review
Bodega has done it again with another incredible collaborative project. This time they turned their sights on the Asics Gel-Kayano 20, originally released in 2014. Featuring a tan mesh upper with yellow, green and dark grey hits for contrast, these are incredibly well designed.
