Ronnie Fieg just dropped his newest Kith and Asics collab – two pairs of the Gel-Kayano 12.1. This mashup sneaker mixes the upper of the Gel-Kayano 12 with the tooling of the Gel-Nimbus 17, one pair in Cream and Pure Aqua, and the other as a nod to the New York Knicks. Asics dropped the Earthenware Pack, consisting of two colourways of the Gel-Kayano 14 inspired by earth tones in nature. Today I’m reviewing the “Sage White” colourway, which is crafted using ripstop nylon and synthetic layers in tonal grey shades. To celebrate the Kayano-line’s 30th anniversary, Asics released this mashup model, the Gel-Kayano Legacy, consisting of elements from 8 past Kayano silhouettes.
