Ronnie Fieg hit me up and sent me a pair of the upcoming Kith x Asics Gel-Lyte III “Blush”. Shenzhen-based label, Costs, recently teamed up with Asics to release their special take on the Gel-Lyte III model. Inspired by lychee vines, these have a very natural look to it, crafted using a mix of brown and pale green suedes, along with hemp panels and unique embroidery. Bringing back a 2015 Gel-Lyte III colourway, Concepts and Asics reintroduced this familiar colourway earlier this month with the Gel-Lyte V “Libertea”. Concepts and Asics recently teamed up to release a Gel-Lyte III inspired by Otoro, which is the premium, fattiest cut of a tuna belly. Draped in pink suede in various shades, these shoes channel that same luxury and prestige that Otoro is treated with in the sushi world.
