Season 4 of Teddy Santis’ Made in USA New Balance line kicked off with these killer 990 V4s in this “Olive / Incense” colourway. These beauties feature pig suede in a beautiful faded green tone, with beige and brown hits throughout making it perfect for the fall season. Teddy Santis x New Balance 990 V6 “Sulphur / Green” Review
I recently picked up a pair of the New Balance 990 V6 “Sulphur” on sale, which had previously been sitting on store shelves for weeks. This Made in USA pair, part of Teddy Santis’ Season 3 collection, features a mix of pale yellow mesh and pig suede, along with bold green accents with the New Balance “N” logo and tongue. Australian-based boutique, Above the Clouds, recently released their take on the Asics GT-2160 model. Opting for tones of green, silver and a translucent mesh toe box, these are one of the more creative takes on this 2010-era running shoe that seen a surge in popularity in the past year. Ronnie Fieg worked with Adidas Originals and Clarks to design and release the 8th Street Samba – a unique twist on this classic Adidas shoe. Sold out quickly, and then offered up again as a pre-order earlier this year, I finally got my hands on the pair I ordered – the “Summit White” colourway. Aimé Leon Dore brought back a 1982 tennis sneaker from New Balance – the T500. Releasing as part of the brand’s Fall / Winter 2023 lineup, they dropped in three colourways. Today, I’ll be reviewing my fave of the three, the “White / Green” pair, that features quality leather uppers and vintage colour blocking atop a classic, clean, silhouette design. The Simpsons x Adidas Stan Smith “Homer Simpson” Review
The meme has become a reality! Adidas Canada just released this special Stan Smith in collaboration with The Simpsons, paying homage to the famous GIF of Homer retreating back into the bush. Opting for a classic Stan Smith construction with smooth white leather, the heel features a chenille finish to it along with Homer himself embroidered across.
