Working on the Gel-Quantum 360 VIII, this collab consisted of two pairs, and today I’m reviewing the “Cement Grey” colourway. I recently picked up a pair of women’s Dunks, in a cool colour scheme utilizing shaggy suede on the upper. This “Photon Dust / Light Armory Blue” colourway has a simple look to it but has a bit of a worn-in and aged aesthetic to it due to the use of the suede. A few weeks back, Salehe Bembury released his limited collaboration with New Balance called “Heat Be Hot”. This pack consisted of two pairs of 1906R, one called “Magma”, and the one I’m reviewing today, the “Lava” colourway. This past weekend, we saw the newest release from Jordan Brand’s “Craft” or “Handcrafted” series. These Air Jordan 3s are built using a mix of tumbled genuine leather, smooth leathers, and suede layers, in a clean and crisp colour palette with aged accents. Asics dropped the Earthenware Pack, consisting of two colourways of the Gel-Kayano 14 inspired by earth tones in nature. Today I’m reviewing the “Sage White” colourway, which is crafted using ripstop nylon and synthetic layers in tonal grey shades. Today I’ll be reviewing the Asics GT-2160 “Kogarashi”, which was interestingly a pair designed by “Tomo Accounts” (or friends) of Asics, including End Clothing, Sneakersnstuff, Slam Jam, and Naked. Kogarashi refers to when summer meets winter, so this shoe features a mix of warm and cool tones that somehow mesh well together cohesively. Check out my video and let me know what you think!
