Six years since they last retroed, Jordan Brand has brought back the iconic “Black Cement” colourway of the Air Jordan 3. This original colourway from ’88 features a cut that’s more streamlined and similar to the OGs than in years past. Adopting the “Fire Red” Air Jordan 3 colour blocking style, this versatile sneaker opts for dark blue accents that compliment the white leather and elephant print. Originally releasing alongside an Air Jordan 4 and 5, these 3s have a dark grey nubuck upper, with the signature elephant print, black hits, and bold orange accents. A few weeks back, Jordan Brand dropped this beauty of an AJ3 – in the “Neapolitan” colourway. Nicknamed this for its use of brown, pink, and white (like the ice cream) this women’s pair was one that I definitely was excited for! Last week, Jordan Brand released the “Racer Blue” Air Jordan 3! This new colourway adopts the colour blocking style of the Fire Red 3 but swaps out the signature red for a bold blue shade. 3M is overlaid on top of the signature elephant print as well for an added level of flare. Nicknamed “Raised by Women”, this women’s release features an elegant, premium but vintage feel to it, and is definitely one of my favourite releases to release this year so far.
