Dropping tomorrow in Europe and Canada is the much anticipated Air Jordan 12 in the original “Playoff” colourway. This is special to me as the OGs from 1997 were my first pair of Air Jordans I ever owned, and I’m so happy to come full circle with this retro release. Nike dropped a brand new colourway of the Air Jordan 4 last week. Nicknamed the “Red Thunder” due to its similarities to the original “Thunder” Jordan 4, these feature a black nubuck upper, hits of white on the heel and midsole, along with splashes of red throughout. Prior to the heartbreaking passing of Virgil Abloh, his Off-White label collaborated with Jordan Brand and released their unique take on the Air Jordan 2 Low. Dropping in two colourways, I picked up the OG inspired “White / Red” pair, which mimics the look of an original Michael Jordan game-worn and signed pair of Jordan 2 Lows sitting in Jordan Brand’s archives, crumbling midsole and all! Today I’m reviewing one of the most hyped releases of the year – the triple collaboration between Fragment Design, Travis Scott, and Jordan Brand on the Air Jordan 1 High! Adopting a predominantly white-based colour scheme, hits of blue, black and sail provide some contrast on this colourway inspired by an unreleased sample Air Jordan 1 from 1985. The signature oversized reverse swoosh adorns the lateral side of the shoe, while logos of all three are visible throughout the shoe. Check out my review and let me know what you think!
The legendary “Lightning” Air Jordan 4 returns for the first time since its initial release in 2006! Featuring a bold yellow coloured nubuck upper, grey and white accents balance the look of this iconic Air Jordan 4 colourway. These release worldwide on August 28th – are you going for a pair?
