My latest Air Jordan 1 pickup is the women’s “Metallic Court Purple” pair that dropped last week! Inspired by the OG 1985 release, this pair incorporates a soft, tumbled leather, and slight variations compared to the original including a satin liner and a leather tongue. Originally released as a 3000 pair Japan-exclusive back in 2001, the “Midnight Navy” Air Jordan 1 made its return a few weeks back! Changing things up from your typical Jordan 1, with oval laces, a leather tongue and a non-traditional Nike Air embroidery on the tongue, these are still beauties to me, and a pair I was very excited to pick up. Teaming up with football club Paris Saint-Germain, Jordan Brand’s newest Air Jordan 4 released this past weekend. The PSG 4s take the traditional look of the Jordan 4s but incorporates a beautiful bordeaux colour to it, along with PSG branding throughout. Releasing this past weekend, the Air Jordan 13 landed in stores in the “Lucky Green” colourway. Drawing similarities to the Ray Allen PE version from 2011, these incorporate tumbled white leather with hits of black and vibrant green to round out the look. Union and Jordan Brand returned for a second collab, this time on the Air Jordan 4! I picked up the Union-exclusive pair, which was done in the “Guava Ice” colourway which I’m covering in my latest review! Done in a vintage look, these incorporate a few changes to the traditional look of the Jordan 4 including a stitched down tongue that had the sneaker world in a frenzy, for both good and bad reasons.
