Nike SB and Jordan Brand are back with the sequel colourway to the 2023 Nike SB x Air Jordan 4. This “Navy” colourway features the same tweaked build, with quality materials in a wearable palette. For the first time since it last retroed in 2016, the “Flu Game” or Bred Air Jordan 12 has returned! This original colourway was made legendary when worn by a flu-ridden MJ during Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals. This year’s retro does it justice with soft tumbled black leather and the bold textured red overlays. Tune into my review for all the info you need! Anyone else pick these up?
Michael Jordan’s superstitious beliefs led him to rock his North Carolina training shorts under his Bulls shorts during NBA games. This Air Jordan 3 pays homage to that with a UNC-inspired colourway. This 2025 edition combines the upper of the Shadow 1 with the bottom of the Chicago, bringing together two of the most beloved AJ1 colourways of all time into one. Taking the Air Jordan 4, its covered in orange-red tones of suede and textured leather, inspired by the brick buildings of his home, NYC. Jordan Brand continues their Reimagined series with the upcoming release of the Air Jordan 5 “Black Metallic”. This original colourway from 1990 stays true to the original with some twists including grey piping on the edges of the panels, and more reflective detailing on the shoe. Originally a PE that was unveiled in 2022, Jordan Brand brought back an alternate colourway of the Rui Hachimura x Air Jordan 1 Low, this one being an Asia exclusive. Featuring beige suede and textile overlays, the layers depict cranes and Japanese cherry blossoms, as a nod to his heritage. Check out my review and see how these are on feet!
First released in 2007, the “Black Cat” Air Jordan 3 has finally returned. This black-out colourway features a nubuck upper, shiny patent leather layers, and the signature elephant print but also turned all-black. Given the popularity of the “Black Cat” 4s, it’ll be interesting to see how these fare in today’s sneaker climate! Is anyone picking these up?
Six years since they last retroed, Jordan Brand has brought back the iconic “Black Cement” colourway of the Air Jordan 3. This original colourway from ’88 features a cut that’s more streamlined and similar to the OGs than in years past. It’s crafted using a soft black leather with elephant print and hits of red to complete the look. Check out my early review and let me know if you plan on picking up a pair this weekend!
