Nike LeBron 9 “Watch The Throne” Review

One of the holy grails of Nike LeBron sneakers recently returned for a general public release. Originally dropping in 2011 to celebrate Kanye West and Jay-Z’s join album, Watch The Throne, these feature a black mesh upper with Flywire and Hyperfuse for added structure and durability, gold coloured accents, and a floral multicolour pattern on the liner and laces. The “Beluga Reflective” looks pretty identical to the OG drop from 2016, but added to the upper are reflective threading to give the shoe an added pop! Clot and Nike recently released an Air Max 1 inspired by their 2006 collaboration, the “Solar Red” Kiss of Death Air Max 1! These differ from the originals by incorporating a mesh toe box, thin leather liners on the upper, and gold embroidery on the heel with Clot branding. With the originals being one of the most exclusive Air Max 1 releases ever, this year’s re-release was a welcome addition to many Air Max collectors out there!
