Australian boutique, Up There, is set to release their latest New Balance collab, this time releasing a colourful take on the 860 V2 sneaker. Dropping at the end of October, these feature a blue mesh base, green synthetic nubuck overlays, brown detailing, and pink laces. A random mix of colours but somehow they just work! New Balance recently launched the 14th generation of one of their most popular running shoe lines – the 1080. Taking a similar approach to last year’s V13, it still features a breathable, flexible mesh upper, along with a beefy Fresh Foam X midsole which provides maximum cushioning and softness. Recently, I scooped up this GR colourway on deep discount, with the brown tones of this sneaker making it a perfect accompaniment with a lot of fall outfits. Releasing earlier this month was the latest collab between Kith and New Balance. Dropping two pairs, this release consisted of a New Balance 1000, and the pair I’m reviewing today – the 990 V4. This “Moonrock” colourway features a dark beige mesh and suede upper, with cream accents and reflective detailing. And as always, it is made in New Balance’s USA factories. Jordan Brand continues their “Reimagined” series with the release of the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe”. Mimicking the look of the prototype version without the iconic “Wings” logo, this pair features quality leathers on the upper in the classic red, white and black make up. Shenzhen-based boutique, Costs, just launched their newest collaboration, this time with Saucony on the Kinvara 4 RE silhouette. Part of the “Infinite Galaxy” pack, this takes the archive running shoe model but updates it with premium materials like an iridescent Saucony logo on the side. Japanese artist Verdy just dropped his third collaboration with Nike SB, this one inspired by his plush character, Visty. Bodega has done it again with another incredible collaborative project. This time they turned their sights on the Asics Gel-Kayano 20, originally released in 2014. Featuring a tan mesh upper with yellow, green and dark grey hits for contrast, these are incredibly well designed. To celebrate their 10th anniversary, A Ma Maniere is releasing the “While You Were Sleeping” collection, consisting of a collection of sneakers under the Nike / Jordan / Converse umbrella. The latest to release is this beautiful Air Jordan 4, which is crafted using a mix of smooth nubuck and hairy suede in a warm, tan tone. Tune into my video for an in-depth review!
