I recently picked up the “Sea Salt / Hot Mango” colourway on discount, and wanted to see what this silhouette was all about. Ronnie Fieg just dropped his newest Kith and Asics collab – two pairs of the Gel-Kayano 12.1. This mashup sneaker mixes the upper of the Gel-Kayano 12 with the tooling of the Gel-Nimbus 17, one pair in Cream and Pure Aqua, and the other as a nod to the New York Knicks. Just in time for summer, New Balance is dropping this new colourway of their 1000 model, in “Angora / Moonrock”. This general release features a muted yet multicolour look, with a cream midsole and black outsole to complete the look. Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance’s latest collab saw the release of three colourways of the 1000 silhouette. Releasing in black, white, and this one – the Grey colourway, which was exclusive to ALD’s website. They feature a mix of genuine leathers, synthetic overlays and reflective panels. Minted New York and Saucony collaborated for the first time, releasing this ProGrid Triumph 4. Inspired by New York City and the Statue of Liberty, this 2007 running shoe is given a lifestyle twist, with green, silver, and beige tones crafted in a mix of nubuck and synthetic materials. Capitalizing on the popularity of the silhouette, Nike recently released this special edition version of their Zoom Vomero 5 model. Releasing in womens sizing, this pair incorporates throwback Nike design details and swaps out the typical synthetic materials for genuine leathers and suedes. Earlier this week, J Balvin released his fourth collaboration with Jordan Brand, and second on the Air Jordan 3. This “Rio” pair is named after his son, and is crafted using a black leather upper, darkened elephant print panels, and the same gradient look on the midsole and heel that was also used in his previous Air Jordan 3 collab. I’m back with another (lifestyle) review of the Nike Book 1. This is the recently released “Rattlesnake” colourway which dropped earlier this month, and it features a white leather upper, snakeskin patterned Swoosh, and burnt orange accents to complete the look.
