The New Balance Made in USA collection has begun to roll out their Spring / Summer 2025 line, and one of my faves is the “Avocado” 990 V6. This ultra comfortable model is given bright spring tones of green and cream, perfect for the warmer months ahead. Nike SB continues their Orange Label exclusive drops with the recent release of this “University Blue” coloured SB Dunk Low. Opting for simplicity, it features a pale blue upper comprised of suede, nubuck and mesh. Sail hits provide contrast along with a gum rubber outsole for a touch of class. Nike SB and Jordan Brand are back with the sequel colourway to the 2023 Nike SB x Air Jordan 4. This “Navy” colourway features the same tweaked build, with quality materials in a wearable palette. Following up his recent New Balance 1500 collab, Salehe Bembury is back with another take on a Made in England model. The 991 V2 is given his signature bold coloured look, and its fitting the nickname of this collab is “Colors Be The Palette”. For the first time since it last retroed in 2016, the “Flu Game” or Bred Air Jordan 12 has returned! This original colourway was made legendary when worn by a flu-ridden MJ during Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals. This year’s retro does it justice with soft tumbled black leather and the bold textured red overlays. Tune into my review for all the info you need! Anyone else pick these up?
Michael Jordan’s superstitious beliefs led him to rock his North Carolina training shorts under his Bulls shorts during NBA games. This Air Jordan 3 pays homage to that with a UNC-inspired colourway. Multi-hyphenate creative director Juliana Salazar just dropped her collaboration with Asics. Her take on the Gel-Kayano 14 is full of elegance, with a tonal tan upper crafted out of open mesh and suede. This iconic sneaker was rebuilt to mimic the look of its original release from 1985.
