Adidas and Australian-based boutique, Up There, teamed up to release a new silhouette honouring their home city of Melbourne. The Adidas Melbourne features a white mesh base, with suede and leather overlays which are inspired by a track spike worn during the 1956 Melbourne Olympics. After an eight year wait, the “Bugs Bunny” Air Jordan 8 returns this Saturday. One of the original colourways of the AJ8, these were worn by MJ during his Championship 92-93 season. With a couple weeks left in the year, Undefeated didn’t hold back, dropping two colourways of the Air Max 95 in collaboration with Nike. Up There’s reputation of strong collaborations continues, this time dropping a New Balance 991 V2. This pair takes a subtle approach, with black mesh, premium black leather, reflective 3M panels, and tiny pops of green. Jordan Brand continues their incredible run with retroing beloved Air Jordan 12 colourways. This time, it’s the return of the “Taxi” pair, which originally released in ’96, and was last seen twelve years ago. Utilizing a mix of genuine white tumbled leather, black textured leather overlays, and gold and red hits, these are a must for any AJ12 fan. Check out my review for a closer look!
Nike dropped this “Houseflies” pack for Halloween, which consisted of an Air Force 1 Low and these – the Air Max 95. Saucony teamed up with Engineered Garments to release two colourways of the Shadow Original Wingtip – a dress shoe / sneaker hybrid that utilizes full grain leather in the Shadow style, for a perfect blend of two worlds.
