Today I’m reviewing the triple collab between Asics, Invincible, and Hong Kong-based brand Madness on the Gel-Kayano 12.1. Dressed in a monotone “Vanilla” colour, it actually incorporates a myriad of materials that can’t be appreciated without looking at it up close. Great Scott! Back to the Future’s Nike Mag is the inspiration behind this colourway of the Nike Vapor 12 Hypersmash. Westside Gunn’s Saucony Grid Jazz 9 has the community talking! The “Awesome God” collab, which drops August 28th, is definitely not one for the shy. This pair features animal hair all over in a variety of prints. Genuine leather also covers the upper, all atop a cushioned midsole with the brand’s Grid technology. New Balance released a new model, the 2811, for Action Bronson exclusively. Following up on the debut “Mikročpske” colourway, a second pair was recently mysteriously being sold on the GOAT app for under retail. I picked one up to see how they were – and safe to say, I’m impressed. This colourway features genuine suede and leather, in cool tones contrasted against a black Abzorb midsole. Joe Freshgoods returns with a New Balance collaboration with his offshoot Every Now and Then retailer / community hub. This take on the 992 model is one of the year’s best, with a mint green suede paired with a gum rubber outsole. I’m stoked to have been able to grab these off their website directly, and hope to cover all the details you need to know in my vid!
It’s 1988 all over again. The “True Blue” 3, one of the model’s first colourways to release, is back for the first time after the last retro from a decade ago. This year’s version is crafted with solid materials, improved shape, with a true-to-OG design. Earlier this month, Jordan Brand released a new colourway of the Air Jordan 1 Low. This pair mixes nubuck with cracked leather, along with a textured green Swoosh and a gum rubber outsole to complete the look. Though they’re not hyped, it’s still a well done pair that surprisingly features good materials for its price. Check out my review for a complete breakdown!

Two pink-focused colourways of the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low dropped at the end of May, and today I’m reviewing the “Shy Pink” pair. This low top features an upper built out of nubuck and tumbled leathers, in various shades of cream and pink. Cactus Jack and Jumpman co-branding share the spotlight as well.
