This year marks the 75th anniversary of Jackie Robinson breaking the colour barrier of baseball, and Nike released a special edition Dunk Low to commemorate this moment in history. Earlier this month Jordan Brand released a new colourway of the iconic Air Jordan 1 silhouette! The “Stage Haze” colourway, as it is nicknamed, features a mix of white and black coloured leather, grey suede, and pink accents on the tongue and insole. Aimé Leon Dore dropped their first Made in UK New Balance collaboration earlier this month, with the release of two colourways of the 991. Today’s review I’m breaking down the “Tan” colourway which consists of cream shaded mesh, premium tan coloured leather overlays, and accents of green nubuck and reflective panels. Today I’m reviewing one of general release 2002R colourways to release this year, the “Phantom / Magnet” edition that dropped recently in Canada. Featuring a mix of suede, mesh and nubuck on the upper, the entire shoe is given a vintage vibe with a faded upper, and yellowed midsole which makes the shoe seem like it’s straight from the 80s.
