These Air Maxes are constructed in a combination of premium leather, suede and mesh, with a very earthy colour palette. Collegium is set to drop two limited colourways of their highly successful Pillar Destroyer High this week. Inspired by the Air Jordan 1 “Bred” and “Royal”, similar colour schemes are chosen for the upcoming drop on June 26th, but they are constructed using the same, top grain Italian leather that the brand has become known for. Originally released in 2010, the Fragment Design collaboration with Nike on the Dunk High “Beijing” made its return last week. Part of a three-shoe “City Pack”, the Beijing pair is constructed out of black and purple coloured smooth leather for a clean and simple look. My newest New Balance pickup is the Kith collaboration on the 990 V2 in “Steel Blue”. Dropping back on April 30th, these are the third shoe in the five pair “Steel Blue” collection, featuring a similar make up of dark grey suede, pale blue mesh panels and light grey leather accents. Menswear label Todd Snyder’s latest collab with New Balance is the 992 “From Away”. Taking the ever popular model, it incorporates its own unique twist with a duck camo printed canvas base layer, with tan suede and leather accents on top. One of the original 1985 Nike Dunk High colourways returned last week with the “Iowa” colourway. Done in a bold black and yellow leather upper, these are another OG Dunk release done right by Nike. Last week, Jordan Brand released their latest women’s Air Jordan 1, this time nicknamed the “Satin Snake”.
