The beloved “Linen” Air Force 1 Low is back! In 2001, these were a Japan-exclusive colourway that was since then only retroed once in limited form and released by Kith. But earlier this month Nike finally brought them back, satisfying sneakerheads and Air Force 1 fans worldwide. Just in time for summer, New Balance is dropping this new colourway of their 1000 model, in “Angora / Moonrock”. This general release features a muted yet multicolour look, with a cream midsole and black outsole to complete the look. Nike’s annual “NY vs. NY” collection is back to celebrate the city’s basketball tournament. This year, one of the drops which I’m reviewing today is this Air Force 1 Low, which is crafted out of white leather, with a gradient style Swoosh, and icy blue outsole. Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance’s latest collab saw the release of three colourways of the 1000 silhouette. Releasing in black, grey and this one – the “Pristine” or White colourway, they feature a mix of genuine leathers, synthetic overlays and reflective panels. As part of their Spring / Summer 2024 line, Wales Bonner teamed up with Adidas to release a collection of footwear and apparel, inspired by the legacy of East African runners. Today I’m reviewing a Samba from this collection, crafted out of nylon in the “Wonder Clay” colourway. Accompanied with premium leather and suede, accents of blue add some pop to this classic looking Samba colourway!
Earlier this week, J Balvin released his fourth collaboration with Jordan Brand, and second on the Air Jordan 3. This “Rio” pair is named after his son, and is crafted using a black leather upper, darkened elephant print panels, and the same gradient look on the midsole and heel that was also used in his previous Air Jordan 3 collab.
