Montreal-based design studio, JJJJound, dropped their second collection of Asics Gel-Kayano 14s last week, with a “Baby Blue” and “Midnight Navy” colourway each selling out quick. Joe Freshgood’s latest New Balance project, “Prom to Paris”, features two monochromatic 990 V6s. Today, I’m reviewing one of the two, the “Prom Blue” colourway which covers the entire sneaker with a beautiful light blue shade in a mix of materials like genuine suede and mesh. Crenshaw Skate Club’s first collab with Nike SB recently dropped, releasing this beautiful homage to Crenshaw on the Dunk Low silhouette. Inspired by the neighbourhood, this pair mixes and matches materials including cracked leather, suede, and leather overlays mimic the look of oxidized metal signs.
