Last month, Nike and Tom Sach’s NikeCraft label dropped their latest sneaker – the General Purpose Shoe. These Air Maxes are constructed in a combination of premium leather, suede and mesh, with a very earthy colour palette. Sacai and Nike’s latest collab, the Vaporwaffle, sees the mashup of two shoes once again – this time the Air Pegasus from 1983, with the Nike Vaporfly from the modern era. Releasing in two colours, I picked up the “Sail / Sport Fuchsia” pair, which has a strong retro vibe that reminds me of the Nike Cortez. Only releasing so far in Europe, the Air Max 90 makes its return in a two-pair set, paying homage to classic colourways of the Air Max 90 in this two-part mixtape-inspired sneaker!
