The latest Nike and Off-White collab landed on October 1st, with the Air Rubber Dunk in a trio of colours. Released as regional exclusives, this “Green Strike” pair released in North America, and I managed to scoop up a pair for my latest review! Taking the classic Dunk for a spin, Virgil Abloh drastically changes its look with changes like a visible Air unit on the heel, and rubber overlays paying homage to skateboarding. Check out my review and let me know what you think of these down below!
Union and Jordan Brand returned for a second collab, this time on the Air Jordan 4! StockX hooked me up with the “Off Noir” colourway which I’m covering in my latest review! Done in a vintage look, these incorporate a few changes to the traditional look of the Jordan 4 including a stitched down tongue that had the sneaker world in a frenzy, for both good and bad reasons. Released to celebrate the opening of their Tokyo flagship store, the Kith x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Tokyo” is a highly sought after pair that was exclusive only to the Tokyo store. This premium Air Force 1 features superb leather, Kith branding throughout, and a velvet liner. Check out my review to get a closer look and share your thoughts on these down below!
Ronnie Fieg and Asics teamed up again to release the Tokyo Trio collection, consisting of three pairs of Gel-Lyte IIIs. My favourite of the bunch, which is the subject of my lastest review, is the “Yoshino Rose” colourway, which is inspired by the Japanese Cherry Blossoms found throughout Tokyo. Check out my detailed review to learn more and to see how they look on feet!
Nike SB’s latest collab is with rock band, The Grateful Dead, with a set of three different furry pairs of SB Dunk Lows. Inspired by the colourful Dancing Bears, my latest review covers the skateshop-exclusive “Green Bear” colourway, as well as the more available “Yellow Bear” pair as well. Check out my review for a closer look and to see how they are on feet! Which of the three is your favourite?
Nice Kicks recently joined forces with Reebok to release these ACG / Trail inspired Question Mids, nicknamed “Bubba Chuck” for Iverson’s nickname. Based off of AI’s love for fishing, these have a very outdoorsy look to them, and are covered in a variety of materials and colours that somehow work when put all together. Check out my review for a closer look!
Originally releasing in 2002, the “Viotech” colourway of the Nike Air Trainer 3 saw its return eighteen years later with its retro release this past June! This long overdue retro features bold purple coloured shades of leather on the upper, contrasted against sharp hits of yellow throughout. Check out my review of these classic kicks that are loved by OG shoe heads around the globe!
