Celebrating the X-Men’s 60th Anniversary, Kith teamed up with Marvel and Asics to release 7 different colourways of the Gel-Lyte III, each representing different iconic X-Men characters. Today’s video I’ll be giving you a detailed review of the “Wolverine 1980” colourway, which is based off of Wolverine’s costume in the 80s, featuring a mix of brown, yellow and red. Bringing back a 2015 Gel-Lyte III colourway, Concepts and Asics reintroduced this familiar colourway earlier this month with the Gel-Lyte V “Libertea”. Action Bronson and New Balance recently returned with their second collaboration on the 990 V6, nicknamed “Lapis Lazuli”, the vivid blue gemstone. Seemingly more well received than the first drop, this pair features various shades of blue in a mix of suede, reflective layers and mesh. Earlier this month, Miami-based boutique, UNKNWN, released a special collaborative colourway of the Nike LeBron 20 called “Message in a Bottle”. This pair is a more premium take on King James’ 20th signature model, with hairy suede, genuine leather, and details such as a glow-in-the-dark Swoosh and outsole! Limited to only 100 pairs made, Jordan Brand recently unveiled this limited edition Air Jordan 1 that draws inspiration from The Prowler, from the Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse film. Opting for the Utility Stash variant of the model, it features plush purple leather, black neoprene, and TPU-coated ripstop nylon pouches, for a stealth and tactical look. The multi-talented Jae Tips released his first official sneaker collaboration recently as he teamed up with Saucony to drop a bold colourway of the Grid Azura 2000. Inspired by his bespoke 1-of-1 Air Force 1, this pair features a similar colour palette with a mix of vibrant suedes, translucent meshes, and reflective detailing. Nike pays homage to their Co.JP line of sneakers from the late 90s / early 00s with the release of these Dunk Low Premiums! Nicknamed the “Brown Snakeskin” colourway, this beautifully crafted pair features a snakeskin-printed leather, aged suede, and debossed leather as well. Set to release June 9th is the latest Bodega collaboration with New Balance – this time dropping their take on the 610 silhouette. This 2012 hiking / trail shoe has seen a return recently, and Bodega’s the latest brand to get the opportunity to release a collab with their signature spin. Opting for a mix of grey and black tones with louder splashes of colour, will this be a pair you go for?
Today I’m reviewing one of the most hyped up releases of 2023 – the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low “Medium Olive”. This women’s release features a mix of black suede, sail leather, and that signature oversized reverse Swoosh in an olive tone. Releasing late last month, these of course sold out instantly and are fetching a pretty penny on the secondary market. Watch my video to learn more and to see all the details for yourself!
