This morning, Stussy dropped their latest Nike collab – releasing their version of the Air Max 2013 in three colourways. My fave of the pack was the “Fossil” pair, which replaces the Hyperfuse and mesh found on the OGs and replaces it with a hemp and canvas textile upper instead. Today I’m reviewing the Atmos x New Balance 2002R collab that dropped this past May. Inspired by the rats of Shibuya along with the city’s sewage system, these feature a mostly grey coloured upper with a variety of materials such as faux fur, rat footprint patterned nubuck, and shiny leather. Korean-based brand, Kasina, collaborated with Nike last month to release two colourways of the Air Max 1. Inspired by Won-Ang, this is the cultural tradition of gifting wood carved ducks to the couple on their wedding. Following the tragic events of last year’s Astroworld Festival, Nike postponed the latest capsule collection with Travis Scott until this past May when they dropped two colourways of the Air Max 1 and Air Trainer 1 together.
