Adidas and A Bathing Ape just dropped their latest of many collaborations, this time working together on the 1990s skateboarding shoe model – the Adidas Norton (also called the Adidas Lawsuit or LWST). End and Hoka released their “Overland” collection last month, consisting of apparel and two sneakers – one of which I’m reviewing today. The Hoka Mafate Speed 2 is an extremely well cushioned and dynamic sneaker that works for your off-roading adventures. Following the release of the OG “White / Blue” colourway, Nike released this special edition colourway on Air Max Day, 3.26, inspired by a similar release from a decade ago. Slapping on volt hits on the midsole and tongue, these also have 3.26 branding on the tongue – ensuring they stand out on the streets. Wood Wood recently teamed up with Asics to release their very own take on the GT-2160 silhouette. This model features trail-inspired touches like loop eyelets and rope laces, and incorporates touches of colour like green and purple among the otherwise neutral tones. Instagram moodboard turned brand – Hidden NY, is releasing their collaboration with Asics on the Gel-NYC tomorrow, March 23rd. This pair draw inspiration from their online origins, with references to digital design tools like a pixelated Asics stripe on the side. Bad Bunny and Adidas recently dropped a brand new colourway of the Response CL model, this time in a cream-based “Wonder White” makeup. This pair is crafted using genuine suedes along the upper, while still retaining that signature look of past models with Bad Bunny branding, and that “drip” effect along the midsole. Following a pre-order offered last July, Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance’s latest 860 V2 collaboration finally began landing in consumers’ hands earlier this month. This three-shoe pack included the pair I’m reviewing today, which is covered in a neon yellow mesh with silver synthetic overlays – definitely a head turner.
