This pair is inspired by the prototype and development process of design, with elements like a translucent mesh toebox inspired by tracing paper, and a TPU wing which mirrors the look of a ruler. Originally releasing in 2002, the “Viotech” colourway of the Nike Air Trainer 3 saw its return eighteen years later with its retro release this past June! This long overdue retro features bold purple coloured shades of leather on the upper, contrasted against sharp hits of yellow throughout. Constructed with a variety of materials that pay homage to rugged workwear apparel, these are a nod to his upbringing in Missouri City, Texas. Definitely a loud, in-your-face design that I love! Kendrick Lamar’s latest drop with Nike sees his take on the React Element 55 model! For this release, the nylon upper is patterned with a marble-like finish, and the React foam midsole has a grey and speckled black finish – similar to Cement print!
