Joe Freshgoods returns with a New Balance collaboration with his offshoot Every Now and Then retailer / community hub. This take on the 992 model is one of the year’s best, with a mint green suede paired with a gum rubber outsole. I’m stoked to have been able to grab these off their website directly, and hope to cover all the details you need to know in my vid!
Coinciding with the re-opening of Kith’s West Hollywood flagship store, the brand linked up with New Balance to release four Made in USA pairs, including the one I’m reviewing today. The 990 V4 in “Dusty Mauve” is built using a mesh base, pigskin suede overlays, and reflective details – all in a mature and wearable colour palette. This Made in USA pair features vibrant colours inspired by Oregon’s Crater Lake – with bold blue mesh, hairy suede, and reflective green panels throughout. Kith continued their partnership with Madison Square Garden with the release of two colourways of the New Balance 993. Adorning the familiar colours of the New York Knicks, today I’m reviewing the “Navy” pair, which opts for darker tones contrasted against orange and white hits. Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance ended 2024 with a pre-order of one of their dopest collabs yet. This gorgeous 993 draws inspiration from the bespoke ALD Porsche 993 Turbo, and it exudes that same luxury with premium materials like soft suede and a genuine leather collar. Dropping just in time for summer to kick off, New Balance’s 992 is back in this beautiful “Sweet Caramel” colourway. This Made in USA shoe features similarities to the limited Packer collaboration from years past – with a similar golden suede upper with cream accents (albeit, on a GR model).
