Dress shoes just levelled up! Saucony teamed up with Engineered Garments to release two colourways of the Shadow Original Wingtip – a dress shoe / sneaker hybrid that utilizes full grain leather in the Shadow style, for a perfect blend of two worlds. As part of Kith’s Winter ’24 line, they dropped a couple of Asics collaborations, including the Gel-Nimbus 10.1 that I’m reviewing today. This pair features white mesh, with silver synthetic leather and TPU overlays resulting in a dark, winteresque vibe. The upper of this shoe is also paired with the tooling of the Gel-Kayano 14, resulting in a familiar but still new fusion. The Nike SB Dunk Low “What The Paul” pays tribute to pro skateboarder, Paul Rodriguez, and his long standing relationship with Nike SB. Done in the patchwork / mismatching “What The” style, each shoe features different elements of some of P Rod’s past collaborations with Nike, ranging from iconic colourways of the P Rod 1 to P Rod 10, to the Nike SB Dunk High. Sacai and Nike are back with another colourway of the Vaporwaffle. Mashing up the Air Pegasus from 1983, with the Nike Vaporfly from the modern era, this colourway is dressed in a beautiful “Sesame” hue with hits of blue to accent its look. Dropping tomorrow, April 16th, we have Sean Wotherspoon and Adidas’ latest collaboration, the ZX 8000 “SuperEarth”! Part of the 26-pair A to ZX collection, this pair represents the letter W, and is constructed in a mismatching, patchwork fashion using vegan recycled materials. Dropping this past Air Max Day, the Nike Air Max 1 “Evolution of Icons” celebrates the legendary Air Max silhouettes that came before it in this mismatching “What The” styled shoe. Taking components of iconic colourways of past Air Max models like the “Infrared” Air Max 90, “Neon” Air Max 95, and “Silver Bullet” Air Max 97, these are a great pair to celebrate 34 years of Air Max. Designer Heron Preston Johnson’s collab with Nike dropped uniquely on the NikeID / Nike By You platform where customers were able to design their very own 720/95 model using their own colour preferences and features!
