Today I’m reviewing one of general release 2002R colourways to release this year, the “Phantom / Magnet” edition that dropped recently in Canada. Featuring a mix of suede, mesh and nubuck on the upper, the entire shoe is given a vintage vibe with a faded upper, and yellowed midsole which makes the shoe seem like it’s straight from the 80s. Montreal-based fashion retailer, SSENSE, dropped an unexpected collaboration with New Balance on the 2002R model last week.
