Action Bronson and New Balance followed up on the “Untitled” 990 V6 with their fourth 990 V6 collaboration called “Amazonia”. With New Balance bringing back the 992 from their archives, it makes sense that sneakerheads are fiending for them. Kith kicked it into hyperdrive with the release of their collab to celebrate their newest flagship in Osaka, Japan. Nike SB continues their Orange Label exclusive drops with the recent release of this “University Blue” coloured SB Dunk Low. Opting for simplicity, it features a pale blue upper comprised of suede, nubuck and mesh. Sail hits provide contrast along with a gum rubber outsole for a touch of class. This time, they draw inspiration from the legendary $1000 bill from 1890, and what better model to execute it on than the NB 1000! The “Blue Neptune” pair features a bright blue upper with black and purple detailing, along with neon Gel pods on the midsole. One of 2024’s biggest New Balance collabs finally landed in Canada and today I’m reviewing one of the two colourways of the 990 V4 that Auralee collaborated on! Australia’s HAL Studios’ latest Asics collab gave the Gel-Kayano 20 a twist. Replacing the traditional lacing with three velcro straps, these feature a fall/winter colour palette in tones of brown, black and red.
