New Balance recently launched the 14th generation of one of their most popular running shoe lines – the 1080. Taking a similar approach to last year’s V13, it still features a breathable, flexible mesh upper, along with a beefy Fresh Foam X midsole which provides maximum cushioning and softness. Another day, another Zoom Vomero 5 review! Recently, I scooped up this GR colourway on deep discount, with the brown tones of this sneaker making it a perfect accompaniment with a lot of fall outfits. Releasing earlier this month was the latest collab between Kith and New Balance. Dropping two pairs, this release consisted of a New Balance 1000, and the pair I’m reviewing today – the 990 V4. This “Moonrock” colourway features a dark beige mesh and suede upper, with cream accents and reflective detailing. And as always, it is made in New Balance’s USA factories. In my latest vid I’m reviewing the second pair of Progrid Omni 9s that Saucony Canada hooked me up with. This pair in “Ivory / Blue” is part of the “Tomorrow, Meet Yesterday” pack, and is dressed in more of your classic “dad shoe” look. White mesh and synthetic leather is complimented with hits of blue and reflective silver layers. Watch my review to learn all you need ot know about this pair!
Bodega has done it again with another incredible collaborative project. This time they turned their sights on the Asics Gel-Kayano 20, originally released in 2014. Featuring a tan mesh upper with yellow, green and dark grey hits for contrast, these are incredibly well designed. Amsterdam-based boutique, Patta, celebrated their 20th anniversary by bringing back one of the most beloved Air Max 1s of all time earlier this month! The “Chlorophyll” Air Max 1 originally released in 2009 to honour Patta’s then-fifth anniversary. 15 years later, and it’s finally returned true to OG form.
Last month, New Balance dropped a series of city exclusive colourways of their 991 V2 silhouette. Each pair is regional specific, like the “Yellow” pair I’m reviewing today which was an Asia-Pacific exclusive sold only in Melbourne and Seoul. Today I’m reviewing the Spider-Man themed Asics GT-2160 which was part of a two-shoe Battle Spectra Pack, alongside the Venom colourway.
