Consisting of two pairs of ProGrid Omni 9, today I’m reviewing the Tan / Pink pair, which features a mix of tan meshes, blue and red accents, and translucent TPU layers. New Balance is dropping a series of city exclusive colourways of their 991 V2 silhouette. Each pair is regional specific, and my favourite of the bunch is this “Spindle Tree” (Green) colourway which was available only at Starcow in Paris. Teddy Santis’ Season 6 collection of New Balance Made in USA is almost here. Today I’m giving you an early review of one of the debut pairs, the 990 V6 in “Castlerock / Moonrock”. These beauties feature dark grey suede, reflective panels and a beige mesh and midsole. Check out my review for an in-depth look and to see how they are on feet! New Balance’s newest variation on their 1906 model is here – the 1906A. This version takes the tradition components of the upper and warps them, like overhanging N-Lock straps, and panels that are seemingly coming off the shoe’s upper. Size? continued their rich history with New Balance with an exclusive colourway of the 860 V2 nicknamed “Bacon”. This pair which released last month, features tones of red, brown and cream, which surrounds the ultra comfortable 860 V2 silhouette. To celebrate the 2024 Paris Olympics, New Balance dropped a collection available only at their La Marais store in Paris. Headlining this collection which was designed in part by artist Franck Pellegrino, was this 990 V6. This Made in USA model features a unique blend of colours, and the typical quality materials that New Balance is known for. Australian-based boutique, Above the Clouds, is back with another Asics GT-2160 collaboration. This time, it utilizes brown, cream and red hits, while still retaining the essence of the 2023 “Green” colourway. As usual, a translucent mesh covers the toebox – so your socks matter! UK retailer, Footpatrol, released this epic New Balance 1906R collab back in May inspired by X-Rays. This colourway features a mesh build in various blue tones, and translucent TPU overlays with white accents. A X-Ray image of a foot adorns the insole as well, tying it back to the theming perfectly. End and Saucony recently teamed up to release this beautiful homage to the legendary Loch Ness Monster in Scotland. Designing this Progrid Triumph 4 to incorporate dark blue mesh, hairy suede layers and textured nubuck akin to Nessie’s scales – these are a beautiful example of a creative but well thought out collab.
