The Whitaker Group continued their ongoing partnership with New Balance, releasing two pairs of the 1906U under the collection called “Willful Bias”. Today I’m reviewing one of those two pairs – the “Sand Dune / Shadow Grey” colourway which features a neutral palette in a mix of a knitted upper, suede and leather overlays and more. I recently picked up a pair of the New Balance 1906 Utility, also called the 1906N. This pair features a slightly different upper construction than your standard 1906R, with a mix of mesh, leather and synthetic layers. The New Balance “Refined Future” treatment returned recently on four pairs of the 1906R silhouette. Featuring that recognizable torn-up upper look, this “Turtledove” colourway opts for a more minimalistic cream-based upper, contrasted against a black coloured Abzorb midsole.
