Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance ended 2024 with a pre-order of one of their dopest collabs yet. This gorgeous 993 draws inspiration from the bespoke ALD Porsche 993 Turbo, and it exudes that same luxury with premium materials like soft suede and a genuine leather collar. New Balance and JJJJound linked up earlier this month to release their newest collab, this time on the fan favourite, Made in USA 993 model. Dressed in earth tones of beige and light brown, this continues JJJJound’s trend of wearable, understated projects. Releasing on May 30th is a brand new colourway of the New Balance 993. Named “Sea Salt / Black”, this versatile colourway is built in a mix of white mesh, cream suede, and black overlays. As usual, this 993 is made in the USA and is a great choice for the summer months ahead. Check out my review to learn more!
New Balance is set to release a handful of incredible colourway of their 993 model. First up, releasing on April 25th is this “Chive” colourway which I managed to pickup early – featuring a bright green upper comprised of genuine suede, mesh, reflective panels and more. Last month, as part of Kith’s Spring/Summer 2023 line, they released an exclusive 993 colourway that sold out instantly. This Made in USA pair is constructed in a mix of pig suede and mesh in tones of cream, grey and green. Joe Freshgoods and New Balance are back again, which is always a good thing. This time their latest collab features three colourways of Made in USA 993s, named the “Performance Art” pack. Opting for pastel colours, the trio of green, blue and pink are accented with grey mesh, and cream coloured laces and midsoles. After passing on these, due to popular demand, I’m finally reviewing a New Balance 993 model. This one is a collaboration with Aime Leon Dore which dropped originally late last year but saw a wider release earlier this year. This “Taupe” colourway is a Made in USA sneaker featuring a mix of mesh, suede and nubuck in a very unique mix of colours.
