Joe Freshgoods’ latest project with New Balance saw the release of 500 pairs of the 650R model, imaging what it would have been like if Michael Jordan signed with New Balance instead of Nike back in 1984. Aimé Leon Dore brought back a 1982 tennis sneaker from New Balance – the T500. Releasing as part of the brand’s Fall / Winter 2023 lineup, they dropped in three colourways. Japanese label, WTAPS, is back with their third collaboration with New Balance, this time on the 990 V6 silhouette. Opting for a greyscale look, it’s built using a mix of mesh and suede in various tones of grey. This “Orange / Cream” colourway features beautiful, buttery suede, slick mesh, and reflective detailing throughout in a fall ready colour palette.
