Los Angeles-based artist, Bryant Giles, linked up with New Balance to release a collection of 2002Rs, including the one I’m reviewing today in the “Iguana / Capulet Olive” colourway. With a canvas upper, Giles’ artwork is embroidered throughout, along with a removable “N” on the lateral side. Australian sneaker boutique, Up There, recently dropped their very first collaboration with New Balance, with the 2002R “Backyard Legends”. Following the Joe Freshgoods collab that dropped earlier this year, New Balance released its first general release colourway of the 9060 model last week, with the “Sea Salt” or “Mindful Grey” colourway.
