My latest New Balance pickup is a model that doesn’t normally get as much shine – the 1700. Dressed in the classic “Japan” colours of olive grey and blue, the 1700 is a model popular out East in Japan, and released late last year here in North America in the iconic colours first seen on the M1300JP.

New Balance just dropped a new version of the 990 V5 free of animal and animal byproducts! These “Vegan Friendly” 990 V5s are built out of mesh and a synthetic material in a beautiful tonal grey finish. Check out my review to hear my thoughts and to see how these are on feet!

UK-based retailer, Size? collaborated with New Balance at the end of 2021 and released this dope pair of the 57/40 model. Featuring various materials like shaggy suede, mesh and reflective panels, this is an understated colourway with a lot of details going on.
