Following up on their highly successful 2021 collab, Patta and Nike are back, bringing back the “Waves” theme but this time on the Air Max 90. One of four colourways to drop in June, I’m reviewing my favourite of the bunch, the “Sapphire” colourway. The next stage of Dynamic Air is here. Following up last year’s debut model, Nike has unveiled the Air Max DN8 model, which offers improved ground feel, smooth transition, and comfort utilizing its Dynamic Air midsole technology. The first colourway to drop in Canada is this bold “Hyper Pink” colourway, and it completely covers the mesh-based upper. My home city takes the big stage with this upcoming Nike Air Max 95. Celebrating Toronto’s diversity and multicultural make up, these feature a mix of materials like leather, nylon and 3M, in familiar skyline (and Blue Jays) colours of white, blue and red. Following the release of the OG “White / Blue” colourway, Nike released this special edition colourway on Air Max Day, 3.26, inspired by a similar release from a decade ago. Slapping on volt hits on the midsole and tongue, these also have 3.26 branding on the tongue – ensuring they stand out on the streets. The newest Nike Air Max model has arrived – the Air Max DN. Featuring Dynamic Air technology, it is built to give the wearer a more dynamic feel underfoot, with a massive, two chamber, four tube Air unit in the heel which features two distinct pressure levels. After releasing the original “White / Red” version of the Air Max 1 last year in “Big Bubble” form, today, Nike dropped its counterpart – the “White / Royal Blue” pair! Built the same, it features white mesh, blue and grey synthetic suede layers, and an extra large Air Bubble in the heel as a nod to the original 1986 production that was quickly scrapped for its 1987 version! Did anyone else pick these up today?
I’m back today with another Air Max 1 review, this time breaking down the details of the “Baltic Blue” (Corduroy) colourway that recently dropped! This unique, vibrant colourway covers the upper in a soft corduroy material, with a bit of contrast on the Swoosh, tongue tag, and midsole. Inspired by the 2003 pack of the same name, Nike Sportswear released the “Shima Shima” Air Max 1 in “Plum Eclipse” earlier this year with that signature striped pattern on the inner liner.
