A shoe shrouded in a bit of mystery, the AJKO or Air Jordan 1 KO was a pair that released alongside the Air Jordan 1 as an alternative that incorporated a few tweaks in the design including a canvas upper, and the tooling of the Nike Vandal. Nike has never officially come out to say what the “KO” stands for, but this shoe has retroed various times throughout history. Today’s video I’m reviewing the most recent re-release in the iconic “Chicago” colourway.
The Air Jordan 1 returns in a very unique colourway. Nicknamed “Rust Shadow”, it incorporates a rusted looking leather on the forefoot, a premium black leather base, and grey nubuck on the heel. Check out my review to learn more about them and for my on feet look! Is this a cop or drop for you?

Worn famously by MJ during the first half of the 1991-1992 NBA season, these feature a bold deep red nubuck upper with white leather overlays. Though these dropped in 2020, I picked up a pair of the highly sought after Air Max 1 in the “Blue Void” colourway. Featuring denim, suede and leather overlays, these incorporate a ton of details and patterns for a very premium look and feel! The Jordan Brand holiday tradition of the Jordan 11 drop is set for December 12th with the “Jubilee” colourway! Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the silhouette, these Jordan 11s incorporate a clean and simple Black and White colour scheme. The addition of lettering on the eyelets changes things up a bit, and it’s finished off with the signature icy sole. My latest review covers the upcoming Air Jordan 1 “Black / Metallic Gold”, set to release November 30th! This colourway is constructed out of black and gold patent leather for a super shiny finish to them. Looking similar to the 2003 mid version, these incorporate a bit more gold to them, but generally have a similar look.
