Nike Basketball brought back this classic from 2011 – the Nike Kobe 6 “Italian Camo”. Built close to the original but tweaked in “protro” form, these feature a camo printed mesh upper, crimson accents, a full length Cushlon midsole, and Zoom Turbo under the forefoot. Nike’s debut signature sneaker for NBA All-Star, Devin Booker, is finally here. The Book 1 is tuned for the court but designed to be very wearable off-court as well, which makes it a shoe I was excited to pickup to review. This “Mirage” colourway was the first general release pair so tune into my video and let me know if you’re a fan of this model or not!
Just when you thought my year was over – I’m back with one final video to close out 2023. Nike Basketball released a brand new take on the Kobe 4 Protro, nicknamed “Gift of Mamba”. Following the protro release of the original “Grinch” Nike Kobe 6 in 2021, Nike Basketball followed it up with a “Reverse Grinch” colourway that released last week. Swapping the original colours, the signature green upper is now red, while red accents and laces are now a vibrant electric green shade. Releasing back in 2011, Nike has brought back the Zoom KD 3, the third signature sneaker for Kevin Durant. This brand new colourway is inspired by the look of money, featuring a mix of grey leather, copper, blue and green accents. Earlier this month, Miami-based boutique, UNKNWN, released a special collaborative colourway of the Nike LeBron 20 called “Message in a Bottle”. This pair is a more premium take on King James’ 20th signature model, with hairy suede, genuine leather, and details such as a glow-in-the-dark Swoosh and outsole! Controversial NBA star, Ja Morant, unveiled his first ever signature sneaker with Nike earlier this year, and I recently picked up the “Day One” colourway. This budget-conscious Nike Basketball shoe features a mesh upper, Zoom Air in the midsole, and a lifestyle-suitable design.
