To celebrate the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, Nike SB released the “Electric Pack” which is headlined by the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro. Also nicknamed the “Olympic Safari” pack, these feature the iconic Nike safari print on the upper, with black leather and suede hits along with bright blue laces to add some pop. Skateshops recently released this new colourway of the Nike SB Dunk Low. Crafted using soft suede, its coloured in a mix of vibrant blue and faded green, with sail accents to break up the colours. Legendary pro skateboarder, Ishod Wair, just released his second signature sneaker with Nike SB, named the Air Max Ishod. Dropping in two colourways, today I’m reviewing the “Persian Violet / Obsidian” colourway (from a lifestyle wearer’s perspective), which fuses retro 90 design, Air Max influences, on a pro skateboarder’s silhouette. Supreme recently released another collaboration with Nike Skateboarding, featuring both a Dunk Low and High, inspired by the work of the late NY-based artist, Rammellzee. Featuring his artwork printed on canvas layers, the shoe is accented with bold, black suede throughout and a gum rubber outsole. The Nike SB Dunk Low “What The Paul” pays tribute to pro skateboarder, Paul Rodriguez, and his long standing relationship with Nike SB. Done in the patchwork / mismatching “What The” style, each shoe features different elements of some of P Rod’s past collaborations with Nike, ranging from iconic colourways of the P Rod 1 to P Rod 10, to the Nike SB Dunk High. My newest Nike SB pickup is the “Court Purple” SB Dunk Low, which mimics the colour blocking of the “Black Toe” Air Jordan 1, but replaces the signature red, with purple. These are a general release SB drop, so they should be trickling into skateshops in the next few weeks to come! Drawing inspiration from the iconic Atmos Air Max 1 “Safari”, last week we saw the release of the SB Dunk Low version to much anticipation.
