These beautiful Dunks are inspired by Ōjima Komatsugawa Park, which is where his spark and love of the sport was formed. Crafted using a mix of soft white and black leathers, along with vintage yellowed accents along the midsole and an aged outsole, these seemingly are lifted straight from 1984. Crenshaw Skate Club’s first collab with Nike SB recently dropped, releasing this beautiful homage to Crenshaw on the Dunk Low silhouette. Inspired by the neighbourhood, this pair mixes and matches materials including cracked leather, suede, and leather overlays mimic the look of oxidized metal signs. The “Chili” Air Max 1 from 2003 recently released thirty years later with slight changes to it. Built in typical Air Max 1 fashion, it’s crafted using a mix of meshes and synthetic suedes, and the simple colour blocking ensures it will be a very easy shoe to wear often. I recently picked up a pair of the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 that was sitting on sale, in a retro-looking “Wheat Grass / Cacao Wow” colour combination. One of my favourite shoes to wear for comfort, these feature a mix of brown synthetic leather, tan and orange hits, and the Cushlon / Zoom cushioning combo everyone has come to love.
