Air Jordan 5 Retro T23 “Tokyo” (2025) Review

The legendary “Tokyo” Air Jordan 5 from 2011 is back! This incredibly limited pair first dropped over a decade ago, and was a Japan-exclusive that dropped to celebrate the T23 basketball tournament sponsored by Jordan Brand. One of the best non-OG colourways of the Air Jordan 12 has returned! The “French Blue” 12s first dropped in 2004, but this year’s retro marks the third time they’ve been given a public release. Nike SB did the unthinkable, releasing this retooled version of the Air Max 95, made for performance in mind. This runner turned skateboard shoe features the classic look of the 95 runner, but incorporates subtle changes like a softer upper, wider fit, and lower to the ground feel. Nike launched their newest model under their revamped Road Running line, the Vomero Plus – featuring maximum cushioning with a full length ZoomX midsole. Today I’m reviewing one of the debut colourways, which mixes white mesh with a bold neon crimson coloured chunky midsole for ultra cushioning and bounce.
