The classic Nike Air Max BW from 1991 is returning in the original “Persian Violet” colourway. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, these runners don’t have the same level of prestige or fame as some of its counterparts like the Air Max 1 or 90, but is still considered one of the most iconic Nike shoes from the early 90s. Featuring a green leather base and tumbled white leather overlays, these pop with an orange swoosh and icy clear outsole. Nike dropped an “Animal Pack” of Dunk Lows last month, consisting of a zebra-inspired pair, and the pair I’m reviewing today – based off of a cheetah. Constructed in cream-coloured tones, a mix of leather and spotted suede cover the upper, while brown coloured accents finish the look. Undefeated’s latest collaboration with Nike, called the Dunk vs. AF1 pack, consists of a Dunk and Air Force 1 that draw inspiration from a previous Undefeated Air Force 1 and Dunk, respectively. I’m back with another Nike By You custom Air Max 90! My latest design is inspired by End Clothing’s collaboration with New Balance on the 1500 “Rainbow Eucalyptus”. I tried adopting a similar colour scheme onto the Air Max 90 silhouette – so let me know how you think it turned out!
Size? sent me a pair of the Air Max 90 Premium, in the “Dutch Green / Light Bone” colourway. These Air Maxes are constructed in a combination of premium leather, suede and mesh, with a very earthy colour palette.
