Originally releasing in 2002, the “Viotech” colourway of the Nike Air Trainer 3 saw its return eighteen years later with its retro release this past June! This long overdue retro features bold purple coloured shades of leather on the upper, contrasted against sharp hits of yellow throughout. Releasing in late June, the Nike Air Max 95 “Era” pays homage to the 90s with retro-inspired fonts and colours, along with animal print since the silhouette has often featured them throughout its 25 year history. Once considered a grail LeBron sneaker, the Nike LeBron 7 “MVP” re-released in far greater numbers last week to many happy LBJ fans worldwide. Celebrating LeBron’s second consecutive NBA MVP award, these are dressed in the Cleveland Cavaliers wine and gold, and include a chenille swoosh and quilted grey mid-panels. Dropping this past weekend, the Nike Air Max 90 “Supernova” dropped at Foot Locker stores and online, and I managed to grab a pair to review! One of the best Nike Air Force 1 general releases in a while, my latest pickup is the “Sail / Pure Platinum” colourway that released on Nike.ca last month. With various materials in off-white tones, these are a very versatile, low maintenance pair that I love. Check out my review video and comment down below what you feel about them!
The latest Travis Scott x Nike collab dropped at the end of May with the Air Max 270 React ENG “Cactus Trails”. Talked about by the sneaker community, with both positive and negative reactions, these incorporate a vintage-looking, painted midsole and outsole, along with a multicolour mesh, nylon and TPU upper. Originally dropping in 1996 and worn by Scottie Pippen during the Summer Olympics in Atlanta, these recently made its return to stores in time for the (postponed) Olympic Games in 2020. One of the most hyped releases so far in 2020, the Ben & Jerry’s collab with Nike dropped last week, releasing a very limited SB Dunk Low Pro model. Done in an outrageously loud design, with cues to Ben & Jerry’s ice cream packaging, these are many people’s top shoes of the year. Watch my review to learn more and to hear my thoughts!
